With the new year just around the corner, Massachusetts will once again raise the minimum wage pay rates.

The rates below will go in effect January 1, 2021. 

Worker Type	2020 Rate	NEW 2021 Rate
Standard	$12.75/hour	$13.50/hour
Tipped Employees	$4.95/hour	$5.55/hour

 

The minimum wage for standard workers will continue to increase in steps every year until it reaches a rate of $15.00/hour for standard workers and $6.75 for tipped workers in January of 2023.
